Raiders vs. TOD vs. LC
Before you tell me to do a search of the forums, I have. I've picked up bits and pieces, but nothing very comprehensive. So, I'm going to post my question here. If there's a thread somewhere that answers it, please feel free to point me to it.
I have a Wested Raiders jacket. Is there any place here on COW or elsewhere that shows and/or describes in details the differences/similarities between the jackets from the three movies? The minimal pictures on the Wested website don't show much. Some of the differences -- collar size, length, press studs on storm flap of LC jacket -- have been discussed, but is there anywhere with a detailed and comprehensive comparison?
Much thanks,
Randy

i'm pretty sure they're the differences right there.
raiders is standard. TOD is slighty longer, LC is raiders length with press studs and larger collar.
that's it. they're the only differences in the wested jackets.
There are extras you can order on top of that though, like 80s fit which might be more raiders than say LC, or a smaller collar size more like raiders (although to me i think the collar is about right but i guess some people find the standard raiders/TOD collar is a little large on them?)
I would like to see a side by side picture of a standard raiders/TOD collar and the LC collar. the picture on the site doesn't really show much. and what the correct length of a TOD jacket should be in relation the waist/belt or raiders jacket

Thanks. VP, I saw your message and checked out the link, which was helpful -- I'm not sure why my search didn't turn up that thread. I also don't know why your response was deleted. No doubt some evil descendant of Belloq showing, once again, that there is nothing we can possess that he cannot take away . . .
Michaelson: Thanks for the suggestion, but the jackets on IndyGear's main site aren't the three versions of the Wested, but pictures comparing other makers' jackets (unless I'm looking at the wrong web page).
Also, though a bit off topic, a woman in our office -- who doesn't visit my office too often -- came in the other day and noticed my ever-growing display (others call it a shrine) of Indy props and gear, and confessed that when she was a little girl, her father used to quiz her and her siblings on Indy trivia -- and the item she mentioned that still sticks in her mind was: "What does Indy tell his class to read in Raiders." I knew the answer of course: Michaelson, Chapters 4 & 5. (She said her father would be very proud of me.)

That page didn't turn up because it's not a thread, it's the jacket page on the main site. I found one Wested comparison pic from the main site, http://www.indygear.com/gear/images/weathered.jpg.randystokes wrote:I'm not sure why my search didn't turn up that thread.

The link I posted was http://www.indygear.com/gear/jacket.shtml.
