What is standard size brim for an indy style hat

What is standard size brim for an indy style hat

Well, I have bashed the top on my Akubra with the help of a little steam and I like the look! However, I know that because of the shape of my face and head I'll probably need to trim the brim just a bit. I look kinda amish in it right now. What is the standard size brim for an Indy style hat.

THe Akubra is usually 2 7/8 front and back and 2 3/4 sides. Steve cut my AB to 2 5/8 sides. This suits my face much better. I then trimmed my Akubra(2) to 2 5/8 sides. My Akubra(1) I cut down to 2 1/2 all around.
