Post by prairiejones »

I came a cross a few rare shots of me in a Dorfman. This is before I even knew that COW existed. Thank God I found it.

I really like the two shots to the right. Maybe not an accurate Indy lid, but still a very cool hat in my opinion. Nice brim shape!

So it began life as this:

Which I then modified to this (cut the brim, bashed and replaced the ribbon):

This then got replaced by an Akubra:

And finally my Indy hat is now a Keppler:

That is my hat story

Rare shots is right, the way you put it together it looks like a paparazzi took them.

You are now looking at rare shots of Prairie Jones in a cheap fedora. An un-named source left these on our step this morning. He is now exposed as being a former owner of a cheap imitation. :P

 PJ you look like some pimp rapper! [rolls over laughing]

You sure made up for that mistake with your AB tho'

Ken - first pics is bad :? Much better by your second pics tho' :)

Like erri-wan said, I too was lucky enough to discover COW when I started looking for an Indy hat & then Steve started making AB's just before I took the plunge :P
