L.L. Bean pants. Back in taupe?

LL Bean is carrying a flat front pant in taupe color. Does anyone have a pair? I am wondering if these are the same color of those famous out of stock taupe dress chinos that Hemingway Jones has.

My hope is that they have the material in the correct color. LL Bean could potentially bring back the 'dress chino' in taupe.

I suppose that is a good sign: to see them bring back taupe in any of their range. Usually their colors are consistent across their line, if not consistent within each individual ocurrance (Differences in dye runs). ON my monitor, this taupe looks lighter, but that could be a matter of photo and color settings.

I am sure, one day, they'll bring back taupe in their dress chinos.

When you search for taupe, it comes up with the dress chinos, but they don't llist taupe on that page.

Does anybody know anything about the covert twill? I suppose that the price is so close to the Wested pants, I might as well hold out for something a bit sturdier.
