Gray Federations

Post by Spatterdash »

Hey, gang...

I've been wanting to to see numerous pictures of gray Feds, regulars not deluxes, as I'm very interested in purchasing one. The only hesitation I have is that the things are fairly blue looking and dark, unlike the classic light-medium gray I'm wanting in a fedora. Although AB makes a gray (haven't spotted a pic of one yet, will keep looking) The price is really the determining factor. I think the AB is worth every penny just from the pics of the browns I HAVE seen, I just can't justify the purchase right now.

So, If you have a gray regular Federation (or an AB, what the heck) go ahead and post pics. Lets make a gallery of grays. It will make things easier compared to spending hours in the archive threads and seeing picture links that are long since expired.

Thanks for considering my request.

That's a good looking hat, MK. I've been wanting to see a gray Akubra, myself.

Akubra. $ for $, one of the best.

I don't have any pics, but my dad has a grey Fed. Its quite a sharp looking hat. However, it is pretty dark. I think one would look quite classy with a LC bash. 8)

Spatterdash-

I'm sorry for not getting to this thread earlier! I'm one of the few members here who ONLY has a grey Akubra Fed (regular).

Here are some starter pics:

If that's not extensive enough, do a search in the Scrapbook section under my name- ALL my pics are still there. :)

If that's STILL not enough, go to www.thefedorachronicles.com and click on the "humor" section. Most of the columns include at least one picture of the Carbon Grey Akubra Fed.

Hope all this helps! :D
