I bought some time ago (in August) a pair of Aldens from a COW member, they arent arrived yet and i start to get worried a bit. I don't trust postal offices at all.
Does anyone of you know some loooooooong time delivery stories that could confort me a bit? ..like don't worry i waited 4 months for my Aldens
Anyway by now i try to stay calm and don't panic, i never really panic!... i'll start to panic after 14th October
Don't panic yet. My mom bought some stuff from a person in England. It took a few months for the items to show up. In fact, both my mom and the seller thought they were lost, then one day the showed up. So don't panic just yet.

If it wasn't sent Airmail, it could take 2 months. If the seller replies to you, ask him if he sent it via airmail. Did you get postal insurance on it?

Yes we insured it.
Well i think after the first 2 weeks of October will be right 2 months. So i'll start to really worry after the second week of october. By now i'm only slightly worried
Actually if it's insured, there may be a limit on how long you can wait to find out what happened to them. Do you have the guy's phone number? Or can you PM him here or email him?
We concluded the deal through ebay so i sent him a message by that.
I just wanted to know if all this delay is... mmh.. normal!?! ...and sharing my worrying with you eheheh
I wait for him answering so we can check where exactly it is

Confirmed...I was sending something to Sweden the other day, and Airmail was 4-5 business days, and non-Airmail was 4-6 WEEKS (and they said possibly longer) from the US. For $3 more, I figured I could worry for a month less.
If it was sent the cheapest method possible, it may take 2-4 months. I've experienced this myself when sending packages overseas. There is also no real way to track them which is a drag.
congrats erri wan, cant wait to see pics of them.enjoy your boots.
Best Regards,
Joe
It seems the address was wrong but the postman now know me perfectly so i was quite lucky!
now i only need... pants and shirt and uhm... a jacket? Actually i found a close enough jacket but it's a bit too large for me. Shame it's a wonderful jacket made of italian leather. I'll probably put it for sale. Don't know yet. It's too lovely eheheh.
I'll try to post pics soon
Fortunately the postman reminded of me because he gave me another little packet few days ago so also without the correct address number he guessed what door it was ... well HURRAY
