Distressed WPG MKVII?

Post by crazylegsmurphy »

I was just wonderin. I have read a lot of topics on here about making the WPG bag a little less new looking, but I have never seen any pics of the final results.

Anyone have any pics?

The pics can be seen around-sorry I don't have a direct link. I do have some advice though-

When you distress it, when mixing the bleach and cleaning powder, it will release ammonia (I think), which will kill you if you sit around breathing it. Just do it outside, and wait for the chemical reaction to stop (AKA-no more bubbles poppin).

Also-follow the Todd's army bag tutorial. One thing I wasn't prepared for is once the bag is soaking wet, it looks darker than ever. When you're applying the mixture to it, you'll swear it's not light enough. Just follow the directions and let it dry and it'll turn out how you want it, it just won't be apparent for a while.
