lol dude. My old history teacher has a youngdaughter and she accidently dialed 999 once. He teaches about the european dictators in the 20s 30s and 40s. The police came to door and asked to come in and saw all this stuff and were a bit puzzled. He had a time convincing them nothing was awry!jpenman wrote:The jacket looks great, thanks for sharing your pics.

I found a guy who had been running a gunshop out of his house for years and he had two m1s for 500.00 each I snapped both of them up and am slowly restoring the one with ww2 parts I put a new ww2 barrel on it myself lockbar sights and a new stock, the list I have right now is 2 m1 garands,2 k98s one made in berlin the other made in austria,1 p38,1 luger,1 m1 carbine,1 britsh enfield,1 type 99 arisaka with mum and matching numbers, and one 1903 springfield with a semi scant stock, that's all I can think of at the moment of the ww2 firearms I have. I know it's a little off topic for here but if anybody would like pics of my collection to look at just let me know.

Re: m1
Id love to see some more pics of the M1. I own one myself (they are absolutly superb guns, I've never loved a rifle more than my M1), Im planning to start WWII reenacting next year, but as of now, Im only 15 so its not really possible.indyguy wrote:I found a guy who had been running a gunshop out of his house for years and he had two m1s for 500.00 each I snapped both of them up and am slowly restoring the one with ww2 parts I put a new ww2 barrel on it myself lockbar sights and a new stock, the list I have right now is 2 m1 garands,2 k98s one made in berlin the other made in austria,1 p38,1 luger,1 m1 carbine,1 britsh enfield,1 type 99 arisaka with mum and matching numbers, and one 1903 springfield with a semi scant stock, that's all I can think of at the moment of the ww2 firearms I have.
