Verdict: Does my jacket fit perfectly?

Post by Dre »

Ive been a bit iffy on wether i think my jacket is too big lately around the chest...i guess it's fine but id thought i'd ask you guys! I think the shoulders and sleeves fit me perfectly.

It's a ToD Goatskin Authentic Brown (On a side note: check out the colour variation! 3 of the pics i took just then in the same lighting conditions...2 of them look MUCH lighter than the 3rd)

I agree that it is a little too big in the chest, but I don't think I would send it back to Peter either. If you want to wear anything under the jacket besides a single shirt you'll probably be glad for the extra room. That's a nice looking jacket. Wear it in good health.

I think it's fine. On those cold Melbourne days you'll be happy about a little extra chest room so you can wear a jumper, without restriction.

I agree. I think it is a tad roomy across the chest and shoulders, but you will be happy to have this room as you get older -believe me!
I think it fit quite well. Enjoy it.

It looks fine open - if you have any pictures of it zipped thats the best way to see how it fits.

If you want the extra sweater space, it'll be fine. If you're looking for a Raiders type fit, then it's about a size bigger.

I had the same worries when I received my ToD goat:

viewtopic.php?p=167150#167150

I eventually had it changed to a size smaller and the jacket I have now looks pretty much like Yours around the shoulders and I feel mine fits like a dream.

In other words - I think Your jacket suits You just fine.

Hope You get to the same feeling with Your jacket :D

Cheers

juding from IndyK's jacket...looking at the size of the collar compared with the pockets on his jacket, it looks like mine should be about the right size for a ToD

odd

EDIT: AND i just looked at ToD and his collar in it looks pretty much the same as mine IMO.

Thanks for the input guys...i feel better about my jacket. it isnt overly big, not tight, has 'growing room'. So i put 'close enough' as *my* vote :D

it's a shame it's getting into the warmer weather here in melbourne...dont have much longer before i cant wear it for the rest of the year =( but there's plenty more years of wearing and adventuring to go!
