Does anyone know anything about the Indy jacket at LeatherAttractions.com? It looks pretty good and I like the price tag of
$118. Just curious.

First of all, the picture they have of it on their site... all they did was put some man's head on the Indy manakin that Wested has on their site.

See the comparison here:

LeatherAttractions:
http://www.leatherattractions.com/india ... jacket.htm

Wested (click the "jacket" link):
http://www.wested.com/home.html

Second, from the amount of pockets their jacket purportedly has... the drape would probably be not-so-well. It'd be nice if they would post one of their jackets on their site.

You may want to e-mail them and ask for specifics about the leather, then compare that to what is known about the Wested, Flightsuits, etc.

Due to the fact that they are misrepresenting their jacket from the get-go, that's reason enough not to purchase one IMHO.

I sent them a friendly message informing them of my observation. I'm curious to see the response.

I inquired about the picture via email. I gave them the link to Wested's picture, but they did not give an explanation as to why they are using that picture with the photoshopped face. They just said that they will post a new picture of the actual jacket soon. Sounds shady to me! Did anyone inform Peter of this?

Did anybody notice that they do not offer a phone number, only email and fax? I hope that Peter sees this, and takes appropriate action. the NERVE of using a photoshopped pic stolen from the Wested site! And what's with the taper of that lid??? Looks like Josh got a hold of it

I'm pretty sure this same company was 'rumbled' by us (ie COW) a couple of years ago. If I remeber rightly they took down that picture sharpish when Peter and cking (who's mannequin / picture it is) was contacted.

Using that guys head to 'disguise' cking's mannequin is just pure genius...

I sensed a disurbance in the force...something elusive, leather, black and short. My god those are horrendus.

So looks like Peter better rattle the cage again. The photoshop job even LOOKS fake. Losers.

Yep. It's the return of one of the most unscrupulous jacket vendors out there. Peter laid the smack down last time. Looks like he really needs to lay it down this time.

Those leather shorts are undeniably a heinous crime against humanity and decorum ...I'm just glad they didn't photoshop those onto the Indy picture!

So, has someone alerted Wested?
