Prairie's AB

Post by Fedora »

Our friend got real lucky as far as my wait period is concerned. Normally it would have been a bit longer before I got to making the hat he ordered last week-I think. But, I had an earlier customer change his hat size on me, after it was on the block and dry. So, Prairie's was the next hat to use that size. Anyways, I covered my tale, , so here it is Prairie. Open crown as you specified. I look forward to seeing how you style it. I loved your Akubra that you worked on.

Oh, the bad news is, it is boxed up, but will not go out today. It was too bad to drive in this mess, and I live in the country. It will leave here tomorrow. Fedorahttp://public.fotki.com/Fedora/hats/open_crown.html

That hat looks awesome! I am sure that Prairie will do an awesome job styling it.

Seeing that makes me anxious for my two. It's like torture! :D

JPEVH, it wasn't you. If it had of been a COW member, I would not have brought it up. Regardless, it ain't a biggy. Part and parcel of the hat trade. :D And, you are right, you sure want the hat to fit!! regards, Fedora

He decided not to trust my judgement!! So, no fedora. but a tall porkpie with a bit more brim. Perhaps he read 3M$'s theory on a porkpie being used? Fedora

Funny things happen when you play around with switches in the boiler room.... I was thinking of using it as a possible Indy reshape (also to test $3K's theory) but I'm really excited to see what Prarie does with his bash when he gets his new hat!
