Asian Adventurebilt
Well I've finally got my image hosting issues sorted out (temporarily & with thanks to the good friend involved ) & some pictures worth sharing (thanks to my girlfriend for taking them ) so...
COW exclusive teaser pics, as Renderking has nabbed the rights to host the complete photo-diary of my travels round China & Mongolia this summer on his website
Bear in mind......this is my first ever fedora, let alone AB!
Longmen Caves, Luoyang, China.
Naturally distressing my Wested riding the steppes on a little Mongolian horse. Small...but fast!
Not bad for a first time fedora wearer huh?
Big kudos goes to Steve/Fedora & Peter @ Wested as well of course

Thanks Ken & JW.Indiana Ken wrote:I never knew you went to Asia - what a fantastic place to break in the hat. It looks good - especially with the horse!!
Ken
Yeah, went for 6 weeks to China & Mongolia.
I'm big into horse riding (at least I was until my back got bad a few years ago) & I had some fantastic experiences out there riding their horses, including a herders horse at one of the provincial Nadaam festivals, which was awesome!

Skippy, those are absolutely amazing pics! I love the gear, but this is why I really come to COW! Yours and Indiana Ken's and Farnham54's adventures are what it is really all about: getting out there and doing it!
I'll be watching the Fedora Chronicles closely! Can't wait to hear the stories that go with the pics (and see more pics, of course)!

I just sent Skippy the test page to see if he likes the direction the page is going for his approval. If he likes what he sees, I’ll give him the honor’s of giving you folks the link.
This is going to be an amazing read for everyone. I also owe him a lot of thanks for letting me host the Chronicle of his adventure.
Who else do I owe a page to?

Thanks everyone for the kind words & compliments, but first & foremost it really is "hats off" to all of you for being part of such a friendly & informative forum.
If I have great gear it's because of the knowledge, shared experiences, help, guidance & skills of the members & vendors here, for which I am VERY greatful
YIKES! Now Ren has created a front page, I really will have to follow through!
