Pics of Dark Brown ?

Post by Doug C »

I have samples coming my way including both Dark and Authentic and am leaning towards ordering lamb in Dark. I find many pictures in past threads of jackets in Authentic Brown. I'd like to see some pictures of the Dark Brown perferably in bright light but anything would be nice. I know the Wested site has shots of the different color but that's hard to go on, and the small samples will be the same I'm sure. I want to see a Dark Brown jacket actually being worn.

The lamb I posted in the Lambtouch thread is a dark brown and was taken outside in the middle of the day little or no cloud cover.

Wait a minute Band Director, let me get this straight.. The Lamb in that thread is Dark brown but the Lamb'Touch' is what?..authentic? They look so close in color (in the photo where one side is LT and the other side is Lamb) or are they both Dark Brown? I have learned in the last couple of days that I prefer a Dark brown TofD jacket..glad I didn't jump straight in and place an order when I first started considering getting a Wested. Thanks.

No, the Lambtouch cowhide came in only one offering: dark brown. The authentic color hides are only offered on the lambskin and the goat. Both jackets in the picture are the dark brown variation for those hides.

The first picture is laid out like this (looking at the picture):
Dark brown lambtouch cowhide (only color offered in that hide) on the left.
Dark brown lambskin on the right (non-distressed side, with the pressed stud)

Thanks for clearing that up.. OK, I'm liking the Dark Brown TofD in Lambskin (since LT isn't available any longer). I would definately be getting the LT if I could :( ..I do have samples on the way though and I'll have a closer look.

Have to agree, Dark Brown looks the way to go. It just looks more like the jacket you see on screen, even if that is the effect of lighting, etc.
