FOUND: Webley MK VI

Post by prettybigguy »

Hey Last Crusade Gearheads,
I found a Webley MK VI @ King's Gun Shop in Glendale, CA yesterday for about $260.00. It looked to be in good shape.
MK, I'm not sure if this should be posted here or under Guns and Holsters so if it's wrong please move it.

Yes, it has been re-chambered to 45 ACP. The cartridges are loaded in half-moon clips.

Can you snap some pics of the gun for us?
If no one else jumps on it...I wanna! The only one I've found is a whopping $950!

So did you pick it up? That sounds like a pretty reasonable price. The ones I've seen have been going for more, not a lot more... but more. I'd be interested to know the overall condition.

Goodness me! I'd kill to find one for that price! Heck, that's about what I payed for the dang replica! If you havn't bought it, I urge you to do so. I found a blank firing replica at a gun show, fires a special round, simmilar to a 9mm round, and it cost about $225 if I'm not mistaken. But in any case, that's a heck of deal. Post some pics if and when you get it.

I don't know if this will help, but http://www.gunbroker.com has a webley MK IV listed (Item #5878232) and it is currently going for $175 (reserve not met).

I don't know if this type of post violates the rules or not, but we need a way to get this info to one another...

  Sorry everyone!
I should have double-checked before I posted the price, but the Webley I found is actually selling for $495.00. I must have confused it with a different revolver I saw there. I hope I get didn't everyone's hopes up too much. I can still take some photographs and post them if anyone is still interested. If you want to get more details their phone # is (818) 956-6010.
My Apologies,
PBG
