PrairieJones 1st Expedition Pics

Post by prairiejones »

I was in the Marines, so this isn't my first trip into the "boonies"
But it is my first trip into the boonies with a fedora on.
I even got some good spider web action in that last pic.

Great expression on 2nd pic, you've really bashed your hat well! :D

By the way, is that a combat knife I see?

If you look at the last pic, the hat has a grey/gray look to it. But not to open up a whole other can o' worms on PJ's thread. Seriously, neat pics. I once got some cobwebs on my Adventurebilt by accident, and when I saw it later, well, let's just say that I wish I owned a digital camera. :D Yours is about the best looking Raiders job I've seen done to an Akubra. Excelsior!

Good eye Tone. KA Bar. Actually it is a "Short KA Bar"It's over all length is 9 1/2" rather than 11 1/2. Much easier to work with. And it does have the USMC stamp and Eagle, Globe, and Anchor on the sheath. It goes well with my NCO saber.

No Tarantula to go with it the spider web? :) I grew up in the "Boonies", kinda like living my childhood in the first scene from Raiders for a dozen or so years.

Awesome hat.
