Wested on Ebay

Post by PETER »

So before anyone jumps up and down I thought I had better raise my old grey head.
The fact is that the Goatskin was so good that I have bought 9000 feet of it. Couple that with the lack of filmwork at the moment means we are almost bang up to date with the orders and are able to make stock as well which has never been known.
I also made a lot of trousers/ pants and shirts while the factories were quiet and am well stocked for the summer hols.
So I thoght why not give Ebay a try with the off the peg stuff as we already sell rugs and cushions on it.
The custom made are still available no problem and lastly a big THANK YOU for your sympathies and kind words with the passing of my Mother.
THank you All
Cheers
Peter

The Goatskin is good, my Raiders jacket was expertly fashioned from it and it's fantastic. I was really impressed with how fast my order was processed, made, and delivered - my thanks to you and your team for such sterling work. I think selling them on eBay can only help to promote the clothing that has already earned a huge following here.

I also think it's great whenever I put my jacket on (yes I do sometimes have to take it off), to see the Wested label and the Union Jack. Proud to be British.

Hi Peter,

Nice to see you here again. Maybe you could add a Club Obi Wan calling card to each inside jacket pocket. :)

You need to get your website updated a bit! There's been some debate here about the Lethal Weapon and the Mission Impossible jackets. Show us some more pics - that will get you busy!

Best regards,

KT

Good idea puttin' some Indy gear on e-bay Peter!

I'm sure that these Indy pants, that are on e-bay right now, are the 2nd batch of the darker colored pants, and not the 1rst batch of the lighter colored pants...Is that correct?

I apologize if this was a dumb question, I just wanted to write and double-check since I've been itching to get myself a pair for awhile now!

Thank you!

Peter, great to see you hear again!
I am very happy with my two year old goatskin-jacket! It was in heavy use over the last months and still looks great! Thanks for that fantastic piece of "gear"! :D

That seems like an excellent deal you have going, Peter. I would volunteer, but my webpage skills are limited to creations using Notepad and dated coding from ten years ago. :(

I'll volunteer help for free, but I suspect you've probably got a myriad of offers already

Maybe I missed something, but which goatskin was so good, the Authentic or the Dark Brown? And what made it so good that it prompted purchasing 9000 feet of it? How many jackets would that make anyway besides a whole bunch? ;) :-k

Details... Details... How I love to know all the details. : :D

Well, if it's 9000 sq. feet, I'd say about 3000 jackets. I believe each jacket takes approx. 3 yards of leather(or slightly less) to make. That's a lot of Indy's!

have a nice day.

yeah thats alot, thats enough leather for all of us to have 2 jackets each and still have almost a 1000 jackets left over.

I hope you still have more goat. I WILL be ordering my jacket in less then a month (for my b-day) Authentic brown goat... I would try ebay but I have short arms for my torso, or a longer torso for my arms Custom all the way.

Cheers,
Jeff
