Hello all.
This is my first post. Just wanted to say I think this forum is really fantastic. It's been great to see how much people enjoy Indiana Jones as much as I do!
I am wondering though, what is the best place to buy a Mark VII bag from?
Regards,
Indy Twist

Welcome, Twist!
A cat that has been "let out of the bag" is 'Soldier Of Fortune', however their prices has rocketed since the beginning...
If you still want a cheaper one from them, they have some issued ones in pretty poor condition, though some of them just seem to be really dirty and probably just need some cleaning.
Anyways;
http://www.sofmilitary.co.uk
Contact them or browse around and you'll find what they fave to offer.
Also - The search function here on COW is a good thing as there might be other sources mentioned in earlier threads, I know of a few.
Else; Shoot me a PM and I might have something.

Swindiana

Hello and welcome on board! Most of us bought MkVIIs on ebay i guess. I bought 3 on ebay. And i'm selling the second right now (see the Classifieds). The canvas is perfectly clean and i washed it once so it doesnt smell anymore like most of the MkVII you can find (too many years of storage!).
It's a perfect bag but for a little hole in the back.
Tell me if you're interested

This guy is very good to deal with. This link send you to his MkVII site that has
a) very good copies of the MKVII complete with leather strap and also
b) genuine MKVII bags with original webbing strap. I believe the prices are quite reasonable.
Oh and welcome aboard!

Personally i dont like those replicas. I prefer the old fashonated MKVII, royal army! That's a real kick ###... and you will be sure you have a very resistant bag (i carried many kilograms of stuff inside with no damages and no worryings)Zach R. wrote:You can also get a MKVII replica from here.
