My new fedora--thanks anonymous giver!

Post by shadwell55 »

Thanks to the graciousness of an anonymous person, I known own a fedora, an Akubra Federation. The only condition, for reasons we won't get into, was that he/she remain anonymous.

I am grateful to have this hat, as I haven't the fund to buy one myself.

I will say that if I had the money I'd buy an AB, which is what my giver wears today and swears by, and always wears, hence no longer needing the Akubra.
Here are a couple of shots (taken at arm's length by myself, hence the bad quality)

It's a nice looking hat, and we have some really nice people at COW.

That's Great! :D Looks to be a TOD style. Very nice. Wear it in good health. We certainly do have a great group of folks here. All you have to do is look at the London Thread to see the outpouring of genuine caring, sympathy and support. It gives me a warm and fuzzy to know there are at least some good people in the world.

Cheers to all!!

I believe that we've had two instances like this occurr since I joined, not to mention the Adventurebilts that Steve has donated to the various summits.

ribbon slippage

Post by shadwell55 »

I noticed that the ribbon slips up about an 1/8 inch. I thought about putting a small stitch there to keep in place.
