Well here is a death defying Michaelson braving the Tennesee Railroad Museum train accompanied by his trusty Camptown Model 1936 Fieldmaster. Note the look of fierce determination !

Thanks for passing along the photo Michaelson !
Cheers !

PM me and I can hook you up, since I make them ! My limited time $135.00 offer still holds true for you with shipping included in the USA, but for Canada, I'll still try to work out a good deal/discount.crazylegsmurphy wrote:DUDE!! THAT is what Michaelson looks like???
That has to be the sweetest "Stash" in this side of 1886!!!![]()
I love it!
Those camptowns are pretty cool too. The one thing I can't figure out is how to get one...it seems they are ebayable, or something, but I never can find the price, or anything.
AMEN!!. If you'll notice in JJ's signature, there is a website in the plans, as the link exists, but he hasn't had the time to actually create the site.crazylegsmurphy wrote:I think you should make a webpage, or use one post to detail your hats in full. (if you need server space, or a website done, maybe we can work out a deal....just pm me)
PMing you CL !crazylegsmurphy wrote:But sir!
I am sure I have missed something along the way. Please fill me in on these hats you speak of.
What are they made of, do they come bashed or unbashed, do you offer other colors, what makes yours better than the other hats currently out there, what are your guarantees, how are they shipped, do you have pics to demonstrate the quality you are offering?
I have seen posts around, and I even think I checked out your ebay post. I like the look of the hats, but I'm having trouble tracking down all this information because there seems to be a bunch of posts, all saying the same thing, but not really saying anything.![]()

Thanks for the assist and I verified that there is actually a little more beaver than that in the blend closer to 50/50 !gerry655 wrote:I am actually buying a camptown![]()
the blend is a 60/40 Beaver/Rabbit, I know they come in Brown, and Grey are available as well. They also have a ventilated sweatband which Michaelson sung praises of.

The Michaelson Classic. Sounds like a golf tournament. A miniature golf course tournament, but a golf tourney, nonetheless....Hemingway Jones wrote:Ken,
Thanks for posting that photo. It's nice to Michaelson making an appearance around here and in his trusty new hat and blue plaid shirt, which is becoming a Michaelson classic.![]()

I was actually asked to join a couple years ago. They apparently saw a photo of me on the web after a few of the first IJ summit pictures were posted, and I got this interesting email from this group. I haven't sent in my dues yet, but I may someday. I'd even get a club tie and everything. I almost deleted the email when I first saw the title, as I thought it was spam, but decided to take a chance and open the link. This is the link I was sent.DanielJones wrote:Michaelson: Great stash! Very Kaiser Wilhelm. Dig on my friend. Have you ever been to this site?

They have every bit of info for the modern massive stash wearer. I was wearing one like the cowboy poet Waddie Mitchell for a while but it got to be a bit much.
Cheers!
