"Batman" Police Officer Fedora?

Post by Andiana »

I was just watching the first Batman film (the first one Tim Burton did) with Jack Nicholson as the Joker. At the beginning, a police officer played by William Hootkins (who becomes bad later) is wearing a very familiar hat. Now I am aware of the fact that not ALL fedoras are "Indy" fedoras, but take a look for your self.

Does anyone have a pic of this guy in the hat? 8) He's at the beginning of the film.

BTW - he was one of the government officials in Raiders -

No, does anyone have a picture of this guy in the fedora? I'll browse around and see if I can find one.

I know this is a stretch, but do you think that the hat MAY be a 'homage' to Raiders? I mean William Hootkins was the guy in Raiders too....I don't know, maybe it's just coincidence that THAT fedora looks familiar... :?
