Secret window hat

Post by Indiana Wayne »

Back in late may or early June, a girl, 5 times said that my hat looked like the hat in secret window! My guess is that she has never seen any of the Indiana Jones movies! Has anybody else been told that their hat looks like the one in secret window?

According to her the secret window hat was brown with a dark brown ribbon. She is wrong, since the secret window hat is black with a black ribbon.

I always thought the "Secret Window" hat was similar to Billy Jack's hat.

I expect vague recognition of hat style from folks on the street.
We know the difference between the 'Streets of Cairo' and 'Well of Souls' look, but that is our business. :) To most people all brimmed hats probably look the same.

Every once in a while, they get it right!

Tell me - is this girl blonde?

I remember another thread about some girls walking by someone telling them "Nice Top Hat" or something of that nature. Most of the time, this is the case of the "DUMB BLONDE" A.K.A the Paris Hilton disease. It is even spreading to the ones who aren't blonde....

Seriously, even if I wasn't a gear fan, or had never really cared about the way Indy's hat looks, your hat my friend is no where near the way Mr. Depp's hat looks. Whoever this girl is, tell her to go watch 3 good films (ahem..)

::tussels hair forward:: ...but when I see a Secret Window hat compared to a nice Raiders Fedora.......I just go...

BERZERK!

Um....that was my tribute to Billy Jack.
 Tone, now that is funny. That was probably the best scene in all of the films.

Phew! Thanks, Hemingway. I thought it might have gone lost on some people. :D

I don't think I've seen Billy Jack in about 17 years, either but I remember quite a bit. Great film, btw.
Tone, to be perfectly honest, if you have fond memories of it, don't watch it again. It really doesn't hold up to modern scrutiny. -In my opinion. It is very much embedded in 1960s hippie commune society. The character of Billy Jack is cool though and his Hapkido is a very interesting fighting style.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled thread!
