H&M Indy style shirt
I was at H&M last weekend and saw that they have a line of Indyesque shirts that come in both long sleeve and short sleeve, and in several colors. H&M's website suxxors, however, so no pics or online ordering. I'd have bought one except H&M bases their sizes on very tiny people. I usually wear large shirts, but even the H&M xls were too small for me and they don't make anything larger then an XL. Which is a bummer since the shirt is made out of a very light cotton and would make a good summer shirt.
So...if you usually wear a medium or smaller and live near an H&M, check it out. <grin>

There's one in Boston near the Jewelery Building on Washington Street and one in the Cambridgeside Galleria. Mostly they have clothes for a, how shall I say..? different demographic. Things like, skin tight faded jeans and black skin-tight shiny T-shirts. I am amazed that they would have an Indy shirt, or anything in that style.
Of course, without a picture, this thread is all academic.

Ahhh, well there you go... I have NO reason to venture near Cambridgeside now that Lechmere is gone and the closest I ever get now 'days to downtown crossing is 2 levels underground on the train...
And I guess I'm just not in their demo... go figure!

Re: H&M Indy style shirt
Fantastic! Firstly, there area couple of H&M shops near me, and secondly, I am of a small size - you may have heard that I had to shrink down my small Wested shirt...Rosenet wrote:I was at H&M last weekend and saw that they have a line of Indyesque shirts that come in both long sleeve and short sleeve, and in several colors. BTW, how accurate is the shirt and does it have epulates?
The details on the H&M shirts.
-Epaulets.
-Two front pockets with a stripe of fabric on the pocket like an authentic Indy shirt.
-Colors available are light tan, dark tan and olive green.
-Long sleeve and short sleeve.
-Long sleeve might have had a button for rolling-up purposes, but don't quote me on that.
-Lightweight cotton fabric felt like it would be very comfortable in hot weather, and was way, way more supple then my Cabelas Indy shirt.
-All things considered it would be my first choice for a cheap Indy shirt (over the ones I've seen from LL Bean, Walmart, Target and Cabelas).
-My sister (who is firmly in the H&M demo) thought it was a very cool looking shirt, so you could wear it as stealth Indy gear. <grin>
I may be in the area tomorrow night so I'll try to get some camera phone shots.
