This is a special thank you to Steve for making the AB for the summit.
I was the lucky one who got the hat, and I must say I just love it. How is it possible not to. You could say I was in need of a good hat because of my old 100% wool made in China. Now I have what I believe is the best hat you could possible get and I will wear it well with great pride.
Some pics of me with the hat on.
Marc made it fit with 2 paper napkins
Now Marc is happy and can look at me without focusing on my bad wool hat.
)
A shot at the AB from above
Cheers

Oh, red eyes. I hate 'em. Nice pics, but pretty poor quality. Outside ones would be great.

Yes, that hat IS great. I tried it on, too ... and it was of a quality I never touched, watched and wear before ...
If I have the money, and my old hat want do it anymore, I go with an AdventureBuilt, that's for sure ...

@VP: red eyes corrected.
Well, this hat is really great, I can only praise Steve's work. BTW, I really like the color of it (saw it in daylight).

The second pic was taken later that afternoon and believe me: we HAD red eyes!
If somebody was in bad need for a new lid, then it was Ace, so I think it went out to the right person. Or let's put it this way: Ace was ONE of the persons that needed a new hat

No, I don't have any other pictures with the new hat, but I think some of my fellow gearheads took some outside when I might be present. I hope everyone will post their pictures from the summit soon.

Hi ITG,
that was some kind of fruit-liqueur (sp.?), with only a few alcohol (but enough for some headaches at the next morning
)

At least that´s what we hope it was
It was kinda dark inthere, and we where at the point at "anything goes".
Best regards

even if it was the blood of kali... I liked it and I wanted MORE!!!
here are two pics of ace's "hat of all hats" in daylight.
by the way: I got the old wool hat made in china... but it's better than my "too small-found-in-grandma's wardrobe-wrong-color-ugly" old hat...

One of these days, what I've got to do is fly up to one of these summits. Would you guys ever allow an American gearhead to be a guest?
Looks like y'all had a rousing good time. Glad you all were able to do it.
Ace, I'm glad you finally got your hands on an Adventurebilt. It's always good to see an AB get a good home.
If you look close, you can see that Marc is also holding an Adventurebilt!
High regards,

Well, now you know my trick on speaking with an French accent
"It's a trasmittöööör, e redio for speaking to Gooood!"
@Strider: You just HAVE to fly from the US to Europe next time!! You won't regret it!
