FEDORA TOO POWERFUL -- CAN'T RESIST ORDERING --

Post by Baggers »

Well, I did it. I broke down and just finished ordering an Adventurebilt from Fedora. I simply have no willpower at all.

It's going to be your basic Raiders style in brown beaver with a Cairo bash. Steve was wonderful to deal with via email and helped get what should be my proper size. Turns out I'm just a tiny bit smaller than a stock size and will size mine down to accomodate this.

Now the waiting begins...

You won't regret it!

I broke down and crushed my Adventurebilt yesterday and it all popped back out, none the worse for wear.

Congrats, Baggers! You'll find that Steve really knows what he's doing when he makes a fedora. Hopefully you weren't strapped for cash after making this purchase, because I don't recommend eating your new hat! The AdventureBilt is a wonderful investment, and though you'll want to baby it when it arrives, my advice is don't. Wear it. Wear it alot. Go on adventures with it. Don't worry that you'll harm your hat. Once it's been on a couple good adventures, you'll find it'll lust for more.

I agree Steve is great, he's THE MAN!
Do you have any hint to get my own size for a hat? I took the measure in a way and i think it's the proper way but if you have any hint for that i would be happy to know :D

Can't wait to see pics of your hat.
i just ordered a Raven Bar AB myself, don't know when it will be ready. Anyway you, indyguys, will be the first ones to see pics

My pleasure Hemingway, i will post pics as soon as it arrives... like Bagger will do i suppose. I'm very curious too about his hat.

Does anyone know anything about AB pure rabbit ? i know the beaver is BEST but if anyone can tell me about the rabbit i would appreciate it
Thanks. Whip

Fellas, as you've already heard, great decision and know that you will be rewarded when your hat arrives.

Looking forward to pics as well.
(I still owe some of my AB Raven Bar in Beaver, but it will be another month or so until I return from business travels.)

Ok, ok...I'll get a Ferrari. Maybe if every member chipped in about $100 then I could get one! But I don't know, for the price of a Ferrari I could buy a lot of gear.

P.S. Which pic makes me look like him the most? :)

Yup, that my Wested ToD authentic brwon goat. Its now about 8 months old. It has boken in just perfectly. It feels just like an old glove when I put it on.

P.S. I'll use any excuse I can to post pics of my gear!

I know that this is the Fedora section  , but if you have any more pics of your authentic goat I'd love to see them! :D Also, how much lighter (in color) is the authentic goat vs. the dark-brown goat...?

Again, I apologize for chatting about the jacket under the fedora section....
