Baron Hats

Post by Strider »

The Baron Indy Hat

I think this hat looks really nice from the side, but they have a front-ish view farther on down the page I'm not so impressed with. Yes, I know everyone's going to pounce all over me and say, in a booming chorus: "GET AN ADVENTUREBILT!!" Well, I already got one. So :P . I was just putting this here because I didn't know if anyone here had seen it before. Just something I came across while browsing the internet.

Notice their price for the 100% Beaver Felt .

Also, notice their price for "special" aging...  !!!

Appearantly, this place is claiming they made the fedoras for ToD. hmm, don't we all know how this story goes? ](*,)

Regards,

I'd really like to read a detailed review of the Barons from someone, who could compare it directly to the AB for Indyartifacts.de. I simply don't have a clue about that hat in comparisson to others. What are their sweatbands and liners like? What about the ribbon, felt quality and craftmanship?

If you buy one, please make a post about it.

Thanks,

Marc

Personally I'm not a fan of Baron's hats. Just from looking at the picture you can tell that the bow on the ribbon isn't big enough. It also looks like it has a teardrop crown rather than the centerdent. Maybe its just me but I'd never pay $300 for a hat that's so inaccurate. :junior: -IJ

Actually,
The lost post that had the pictures in it of the hat that the
person bought, everyone aggred that it looked 100% exactly like
the tod plane hat. There were tons of pictures in that one.
To bad its gotten swiped.

Adam

Maybe they did make a few hats. You know a French company made a few jackets so maybe Baron made a few hats. I would like to have seen those pics though. :(
