WPG breaks within 24 hours of arriving :S
Well my WPG arrived yesterday, and well i was happy and wearing it to a friends house, i start to run and pluff bag breaks by the part of the bag attached of the d-ring.
I already asked a friends mom who has a clothing store and she said there would be no prob, and that this things happen a lot. But i wanted your opinion on this, I already got VP´s
Ps.Still i dont find satisfaction in a product that doesnt hold up 24 hours

That's not his bag. It's an edited pic from the main site. http://www.indygear.com/gear/images/Bag.jpg
I had exactly that problem. Nowhere near that quickly, but I assume mine was caused by the corrosion on the O-Ring sawing through the strap. A new bag should have very smooth O-Rings though.
I went through all of my bags and made sure the rings were free of corrosion as the break always occurs at the worst possible time. Mine was at the top of Mt. Chocorua, I think. I was able to use the 60 year old string that was still on the bag to keep it together.

I had one of the internalpockets on my bag rip about a week into having it. I don't even remember how it happened, I just looked in there one day and it was ripped along the seam where the pocket meets the bag. I think when it comes down to it, these are repros, made in Pakistan, while the originals were made with military specs in mind with a bit more care.

My WPG bag had the same problem, but mine was due to the normal diary wear, I simply stitched it again and no problem. It must be disappointing when this happen with a new one, but as you say, the cost of shipping again the bag from Spain isn't worthwhile. As said Shawnkara, Repair it with thick thread and run again!
Saludos!

I had an issue with a button hole on a WPG shirt (the manufacturer forgot to place one on the sleeve -could've happened to anybody) and Jerry contacted me through two different methods offering compensation. He took it very seriously and was very upset; much more than I was. He is a very stand up guy and I recommend doing business with him. I am sure he would stand behind this or any of his products. That has been my experience with WPG.
