Perfect Raven AB, Thanks Fedora!!

Post by IndyFlyer »

I came home to that same excitement of a large white square box by the door. Inside was a fedora that as much as you expect must truly be seen, touched, and put on to fully appreciate. Absolutely outstanding! Fedora is not exaggerating, this is incredibly fine felt. Just holding and admiring this hat is an experience to savor. I had requested the Raven Bar, turned of course, and I could not be happier with the result! I immediately phoned Fedora for thanks, and to start discussing my next AB. You guys were right, this hat thing can really get ahold of you once you step in and put the right one on. Unfortunately, I cannot post pics until later in the month as I am away, but I will do so promptly upon return. Once again, for our master-hatter Fedora, a home run and true Indy-Hat. IF

Once again, for our master-hatter Fedora, a home run and true Indy-Hat.
Fedora hits has more Home Runs than Barry Bonds (except Fedora doesn't use steroids to do it  ) Can't wait to see what mine's going to look like when I get it. Congradulations on your great new hat, Flyer. :) :junior: -IJ

There ought to be a rule against teasing us with a description of another one of Fedora's great hats, then saying that you don't have any pictures to share. It's just not fair, I say! :D
Congrats on the hat!

I agree myself and would have been disappointed had someone not called me out on it, but two issues took over:
1) Figured you'd forget about me and my hat purchase by then, and
2) I just couldn't wait to praise Fedora and share my excitement.

My foul, admitted....

No worries pal, I didn't. My skin is thick, fire away. Honestly, I expected it and understand the sarcasm and humor. BTW, such a response suits you; make a humorous statement, and follow it up with a sincere congrats. Perfect.

Thank you for saying so, and excellent semi-colon usage, by the way. :D

I feel sorry for those who can't "punctuate" properly. Fortunately, I still can, though the sentence structure gets clogged from time to time.

...Uh.... nice hat. 8-[

Don't worry about it, Tone. When you're ready to order your AB, it'll be the same price then as it is now. Steve's biggest goal is to make the best Indy hat around, and at a price that people can afford. He's in this business for fellow fans, not so much for the money.

Believe me, it pains me to not have those pics up almost as bad as not being able to wear my new hat for a month. This trip I am on did not allow for a hat to come along. It arrived as I was leaving. This thread now serves to add to the haunt and torture... (Written with humor, I enjoy and value it all). :)

Pics I promise as soon as I return in a few weeks. Besides, one of you kind folk will have to help me out as to posting personal pics, I'm already onboard with posting clips from other internet sites using the 'img' tab.

Oh yeah, and never again will I tease you all so and subject myself to another beating, lesson taken by the new guy...
