Predating Indy By 12 Years...

Post by rick5150 »

Another possible connection between Indy and the Monty Python gang besides the Holy Grail...

These aired on 11/23/1969. This is from a Monty Python sketch called "Non-Illegal Robbery" and it can be found on Episode 6 of the Monty Python Flying Circus Collection. Any bets on these hats coming from Herbert Johnson?

Pay particular attention to the gray hat worn by John Cleese (far left). Except for the bound brim, it looks pretty familiar to me...

It looks a lot like Indy's gray hat in that 5th pic. :-k

I love it!

And, actually, John Cleese looks really good in a fedora.

Graham's DB suit is great! Wonder what style his hat is?

It's a nice hat but not exactly like indy's one. The colour is just great anyway.
It remids me a lot of my stetson 1984 licensed. I have it and it's pretty similar, except for the colour.
