Poet
I'm thinking of ordering a Herbert Johnson Poet model because of the larger brim than the Indy model of theirs and then having it cut to the right size. Thoughts ....feelings ....ideas  ....inklings ....notions ....oh well, you get the idea! 8-[

That's what I did. I ordered a Poet with the 3 inch brim and unbashed crown from Todd's costume. It was worth the extra wait. I cut the brim and bashed it myself. When you order one this way it comes without any stiffener, which is also a good thing. Except for ironing the brim a little, I've used very little steam with this hat. I think the weight and color is real close to the Raiders felt. I also got the white liner with the burgundy oval. Here's a pic:
The brim is 3" front and back and 2 3/4" on the sides. Crown is 5 3/4".
Size is 7 3/4. Got it in February and so far no shrinkage or taper. I did order it in the next size, because HJ's can be a bit snug sometimes.
