For the hardcore collectors amongst us...

There's a "Vintage IndianaJones Stetson Hat Mens Size 7 " Rare "" on e-bay currently.

Since nobody bid on the "thing" yet, I thought I'd let you know, in case there are some collectors that want this official hat for their collection yet.

So being a newby, I'll ask the obvious (?) newbie question: what makes this Stetson rare? I thought, from reading here, that the original was an Herbert Johnson.

thanks!

Ahhh... ok, that makes sense.

Sigh... and my sarcasm meter is usually farily fine tuned. :)

Was this questions answered or are you still in the dark, jeff? In short, Stetson used to make a great IJ replica hat. Nice felt, liner, quality sweatband, etc.... They have since let that line of hats go. So, to find one of these rare hats in good condition is a great find. I just wish I was a size 7.

Pyro pretty much hit the nail regarding my intentions.

Most people around here, wouldn't even CONSIDER wearing that hat. That's why I wrote "collectors" For some this might be a collectable missing yet.

I had one of those hats in the early 90's. I recently donated it to goodwill.
