As I understood, the only thing Wested made for the Mummy movies was the leather gear, such as the straps and such, but no jackets. Regards. Michaelson

That's what I'm curious about. I know they didn't ake the jackets but I jsut want to know what props they made. like if they made the gun holsters, the weapons bag O'Connel uses, etc. and is there any news on the rocketeer jacket?

wow, this topics been going on for ages. Last time I was at Wested was around october last year. I went in two or three times and each time asked about the Rocketeer jacket. It always put a look of despondance on Peters face :p
All he had was some leather sitting ontop of a hanger rack. Think he said it'd taken him a long time to get the right colour stuff. He also mentioned he hadnt been able to get the right kind of buttons. Plus I think it was kinda getting lost among his already huge workload.
I know this was a couple of months ago but I still wouldnt get your hopes up folks, you could well be in for a long wait. That said I'm sure there'd be some kind of announcment when its finished and ready to order.

Excuse my ignorance but do you mean Harry Potter 4? cos he had a few bits from Harry Potter when I was there. Afraid I didnt really look at them though. I'm not really a Harry Potter Fan.

Very sorry Bruce but like I said, I didnt take a close look at them. He had a whole bunch of stuff on a rack. I know he also kept finished orders on the same rack so I'd guess everything on there was stuff that had just been finished. Peter just skimmed through some of it telling me what it was for and mentioned that some of it was for Harry Potter. Sorry I dont have any decent info.

No problem. But if you do go back in the future, can you ask him about the Harry Potter items and mummy items he's made for the films? thanks

I certainly will. I'm very interested in the Mummy items they made myself so I may well go back in the near future. Its just a 30 minute drive away :) and I'd definitely ask about the Rocketeer jacket again.

Does anyone know if Wested is still considering this?

I would loose my spare tire if I knew I could get a jacket like the Rocketeer. Does anyone know if Wested is still planning this?

For those still searching for a Rocketeer jacket:

http://www.abbyshot.com/products/ps-roc ... d6514b571d

I've waited and waited for the Wested version. The project seems to have been put on an indefinite hold. Haven't heard any news in a year.

I'd imagine Peter's price would be more competitive than $1,000.00 USD, but only time will tell. At this point I'd just be happy knowing where the project stands.

I asked Peter about this when in London for my honeymoon.

He didn't seem to happy about the project, but he did show me the prototype.

I would LOVE to get me one of these.

That's 488.214 USD, FYI. About half the price of the Abbyshot one.

On the Wested site I can only choose standard sizes for the Rocketeer-jacket. So isn´t it available in personal measures now?
Are there any pics of a production jacket yet?
