How Long?

Post by Indiana Wayne »

I want to get a Winrich whip for my birthday and I was wondering how long of a whip I need. I am five and a half feet tall, and I was thinking if a should get a 6ft or a 8ft bullwhip. What size would be better?

There are many posts on this topic.
Do a search. The general idea is that 8 feet is the best.

I think I might go with the 6ft and then get a 8ft when I need a new one. I grow fast and I was wondering if I am 6 foot later or next year would a 6ft bullwhip be to short?

Then there's going with a 7 footer to start with and a 9 footer later on,
but that's my personal preference.

7 foot is my favorite for targeting and general fast cracking,
where 9 is the multi purpose size, for the loud bangs and wraps,
along with general cracking.

Which ever choice you go with,
be safe, wear the safty gear

then let the goodtimes begin.

Hi Indiana Wayne,

I replied to your PM. Now that I see you're in Tennessee I can tell you that shipping will be $7, so the total for a 6 ft. IOAB bullwhip including shipping will be $67. It'll be an extra $4 if you want to pay using PayPal.

Best Regards,

 The old topic I read the shipping was for Europe, for someone in Germany I think. If the shipping is $7 dollars I might get an 8ft. My mom said I have to wait until it gets closer to my birthday, because I keep changing my mind. My birthday is in June so its not that long of a wait.

I love a good 7ft whip.
A nice compromise between 6 and 8.
Fast AND flowing.

Which color is more screen accurate, the medium brown or the dark brown? I think the medium brown, but that's just me.

Everybody has been going for the medium brown. The only dark brown IOAB bullwhip I ever made is the one pictured on the website.
