My indy style jacket!

Post by Indiana Wayne »

I just bought a leather A-2 Indy style jacket off ebay. Its a little lighter in color then the one Indiana Jones wore, and it also has the knit cuffs and waistband. But I always wanted an A-2 jacket. the ebay item number is 3967243086. it should be at my house in two weeks. I really like the jacket even thought it is not very screen accurate.

I wore an A-2 for years before my first Wested, and was just as happy. Nice choice! Wear it well!! High regards! Michaelson

Nice jacket - I really like the A2's. In fact, when next I need a jacket it may even be an A2 rather than a Wested!

It still says 'Indy' but the ribbed cuffs and waist have a certain appeal, at least to me.

Enjoy your new jacket! Good price too!

Nice jacket, IW, and what a price! I love wearing my A-2 when I'm not wearing my Indy jacket. Good looks like that never go out of style.

My first leather jacket was an A-2 that I purchased 20 years ago. In fact that thing is still hanging in my coat closet. Which reminds me, I really need to get a new zipper on that jacket.

The A-2 is a great jacket. I have one that my dad 'out grew'. It fits me perfect, is beautifully distressed and very Indy looking. I'm really thinking about sending it to Wested and telling them to make me a Raiders jacket from its measurements. That is if Wested gets this horsehide thing straightened out.

Thanks for your comments! :) The next thing I need to talk my mom into is a fedora. It was a great price for a leather jacket.

Sounds good. A-2's are very Indyish in many ways. See if you can post some pictures of it when it arrives. :)
