Glad you got it! The more you wear your Akubra, the more the sweatband will conform to your head, making the foam inserts unnecessary. Just give it time.

Well I'm back from being a sixth grade camp counselor. I Bashed my fedora befor I went and wore it to camp. All of the sixth graders loved it. On thursday during camp fire it rained the whole time so my fed got pretty wet. I took the opportunity to tweek the bash a little more. Hopfully I will eventually get it so it is perfect to my liking. I will post pics as soon as I can but unfortunaty my mother has lost the digital camra, so I have to find that first.

Mat, looks like you got it just in time for our rainy weather. You're going to appreciate how it holds up in rain.

Hey Jess It was in the rain for over 4 hours and got soaked through on thursday night. After I got out of the rain I tweaked the shape of it abit and set it on its crown to dry. By the next morning it was dry and was looking great. I am very glad it holds up so well in the rain.
