Pictures of my Adventurebilt

Post by Falstaff »

Just got my first digital camera, so please forgive the multiple images...

This is my Adventurebilt. I've spent some time shaping it and would like opinions from other gearheads.

Falstaff,
It looks great. I like what you've done with it, especially the sides of the brim. That is one fine looking hat; another beautiful Adventurebilt! Enjoy it. :D

That's a slick looking fedora. The felt looks so sleek, just what I'm hoping mine will look like one day once I order it.

The hat looks great, I think you did a fine job with it. I'm very excited to get mine. I just paced my order a couple of days ago.

Good job, Falstaff!

And Holly, once you get your AB, you'll wonder what took you so long.

Currently unemployed like me, Kris?

As soon as I heard Fedora was going to open shop, I started saving pennies here and there. It took me a little time to save up for it, but by then, he was about to open for business. Even if you stash some extra money here and there and have to wait for it, it's well worth that wait!

That's a great looking hat, Falstaff! It's great to see another member of the Adventurebilt club. Wear it in good health and good time.

Once you get an Adventurebult you'll find yourself not posting as much as you used to... you'll be making special trips into town just to show off.

Renderking: "I'm heading down town again..."
Mrs Renderking: "But you've already been 3 times today!"
Renderking: "Hey... there might be some people who haven't seen my fedora yet..."
Mrs Renderking: "Ren... we live in a town with a population slightly smaller then the Osmond family, I think they've already seen it. Besides, it's the biggest news this week and I'm sure you'll be on the cover of the weekly newspaper. Tone it down...."

Nice lid, Falstaff! I like what you did with the sides. It's so cool that though everyone has pretty much the same hat, it becomes as individual as the one who wears it.

Maybe I'll see you wearing it around town!

That's what's so great about these hats, Snakewhip, is that they DO begin to take on the character of the wearer. The felt is so responsive that it reacts differently just depending on how you pick it up and put it on your head! Sure, I've got "Indy's" hat, but more importantly, it's "my"hat.
