All 3?

Post by Dr. Jones Jr. »

Is there anyone here that is mental enough to have purchased one of each of the jacket styles from Peter and co. Just to say that you have done it or something, and if you have do you have pics comparing them all? just my curiosity, i understand they are all the same essentially, minus few minor differences.

I had all three at once. However, I traded the Temple of Doom style for another Raiders style. Actually, my goal would be to own a jacket in each style and in each of the leathers being offered. Now that's being "mental".

Once upon a time I owned all 3 jacket versions from Wested, at different times, they've came n' gone though....Presently, I own a Flightsuits dark brown Goatskin and a Wested Lambskin. But, to have all 3 versions, in various hides, at the same time would be pretty cool! :D

Kind Regards,

Also, this is for anybody, i was wondering if anyone had any input on how to solve action pleat bulging when your arms are straight froward. i will be ordering a wested in the future for motorcycle riding, and i dont want those pleats getting caught in the wind. Im know Peter doesnt mess around when it comes to making righteous jackets, but i still appreciate input!

I've also owned each style in my time - a lambskin Temple, a cowhide Raiders, a goatskin LC and a lambskin Raiders. I've either been unhappy about a certin aspect of each jacket, or thought I could improve on something so sold each one on the fund the next.

The only one I have now is my last jacket, the lamb raiders, which ironically was an off-the-peg I picked up in person at Wested and it fits me better than any of those jackets I sweated over the measurements or requested a 101 special features for.

I like it better then any of the others. It will do me for many years to come before I'll consider buying again.

I have a Raiders, LCx2 and purchased my dad a TOD. I like the LC with Raiders collar in lambskin the best.

Swindy - yeah, that's the one buddy!

Its picked up a little 'natural distressing' since October and the more I wear it, the better it looks and the better I like it. :)

Well, it suited you perfectly. ;)
The one I tried as seen in my current avatar was a tad... tad.
LARGER PIC.

How's that for monkey arms/belly dancer ambitions? 8)

Swindiana,
The link to your "Larger Pic" isn't working.

Everyone else,
I'm so jealous of you all. I'm still working up the nerve to buy my first Raiders and most of you have gone through several jackets already.

It's great to hear that everyone can see that picture now.

Joe; The sooner the better. Once you order, the waiting is pain anyway. ;)
Good luck with it, let us know what you decide on when the time comes.
