Adventurebilt Hats Testimonials and Photos
I am the guy that built Fedora's site and I am currently making a testimonial and photos section for the site and wanted to collect testimonials and photos for it. If anyone would like to add their photos and/or testimonials to the site please email them to me.
What I require is:
Name
Address (this is just to give people an idea of where in the world the hats are, I plan to display City, State/Prov, and country, but if you are uncomfortable with displaying that much info, State/Prov and Country would be good too)
Testimonial
Up to 2 photos (if you have a personal photo album of your Adventurebilt hat I can also include a link to it)
You can post just photos, or just a testimonial, or both.
Email them to john @ name-brand.net (remove the spaces).
Once I get a few I will make the section live so everyone can see and add the testimonials as they come.

Thanks guys. They don't have to be from exotic locales. I will be happy with pics of you sitting around a picnic table, sipping a brew, or iced tea. On the testamonials, I really don't care one way of the other. Just pics will suffice. I don't want it to be a selling tool, just a place to show everyone you and your AB. Axthe testamonial if you wish. I would rather have just the pics. Plus, I can only make a limited number of hats. A testamonial might push me over the edge of keeping up. I am serious. I am afraid, I am not set up to do any volume And, I do not want to be. This is a passion and hobby of mine, nothing more. regards, Fedora

As soon as I get some better pics of me in my Adventurebilt, you can bet that I will send them off to you for use on your site asap!
Oh and Snakewhip, no one will steal your hat in LA if you keep it on your head. A lot of the stories about LA are greatly exaggerated, unless you're in the ghetto. However, I doubt you're going to go to the ghetto. Just keep your eyes open and your wits about you, and your hat will be fine. Keep it on your head, or your lap if you're out eating someplace.
Regards,
Strider

Absolutely,
I sent links to name-brand yesterday to my Fotki site. I told him he could just take them from there: http://public.fotki.com/HemingwayJones/ ... _shot.html -Anything he wanted. If he has a problem downloading them, or something, please let me know and I will send them to him as jpegs or whatever format he needs.
I also wrote a nice pithy testimonial extolling the virtures of the Adventurebilt! He should be all set. Thanks for including me.

Strider,
I did have Art reblock my Adventurebilt because I had messed with it so much. Turned out beautifully and I wear it every day and don't mess with it anymore. Arts shop is very close to me so I just dropped by with it. He has helped me with several hats now but I am sad to say that he is retiring and moving away soon. The good news is that he plans to keep his hat shop open for mail order and internet sales after he moves but his vintage clothing shop is going to be liquidated when he moves.

Anyway, I am glad you reblocked it and I am glad you're happy.
I am so happy that you rebloacked that hat! Though you should have sent it to Fedora. I know that Art is a consummate professional, but to get that Raiders block right, it has to go to Fedora.I did have Art reblock my Adventurebilt because I had messed with it so much.
Anyway, I am glad you reblocked it and I am glad you're happy.

Do you have a pop-up blocker or javascript disabled? It uses javascript pop-up windows for the larger images.Bufflehead Jones wrote:On the testimonial page, the pictures say that you can click on them to enlarge the picture. I could not get this feature to work. The window with the larger picture never appeared. Did this work for anyone else?

If you're using Internet Explorer... go to the top menus:Fedora wrote:I have a pop up blocker on this new XP software. How does one disable it? I can't seem to find it under "settings" Thanks, Fedora
Tools->Pop-Up Blocker->Turn off Pop-Up Blocker
Course, it's always a good idea to turn it back on!
When a pop-up happens you can click on the yellow banner at the top of the window and allow it to the "White List" or "Allowed".

They made no comments about the hat, but one lady working there said they must've been excited to meet Indiana Jones - a playful jab. As for the story, such as it is, it's here in another thread.Indiana Texas-girl wrote:How did you meet those two guys? Story background please. What did they think of your Indygear?
