Monty Python's French Soilder and the Side Strap Placement

Post by junior »

Now this is wierd.

Ever so often the great Frenchman and I keep in touch. Seems a few weeks ago France's greatest soilder finally broke down and picked up a used Wested from a local in Camelot. My man was hyped and sent me some pics of his new find. All was good til I replied and pointed out that his side straps were about 7/16" off from the correct Raiders position. I guess I just should have left him basking in his glory instead of trying to bring to his attention something that really doesn't mean all that much.

Yep, for a few years there we had a good back and forth, ye ol' solider and I, but it's evident that I have now pushed him too far. A few days after I showed off my jacket detail greatness to my French Warrior comrade, he sent back the following email that pretty much told me we were done.

"junior, I don't want to talk to you no more, you empty headed animal food trough wiper. I fart in your general direction. Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries."

Guess I should of just said nice jacket, huh?

Some gearheads never learn.

Well, as a certain soilder once said, "time to go back to my hole". Life is way too fast now to keep up with the Jones's here at the Club. My apologies for getting on some last nerves in the distant past. Haven't looked in here for a LONG time and just wanted to check in and out one last time with a little of the old stuff. Thumbs up to all.

Humm, are you sure you weren't corresponding with Indiana Jess? That sounds like one of HIS responses. :?
