Glad to see that 'old timers' like yourself cans till get caught up in the moment and still be truly interested in the gear. With a lot of the former LA crowd leaving the forums there is a distinct lack of founders of the hobby about - so nice to see you back and posting!
Well, maybe now that you're an 'old timer' you can use your new 8 footer to keep the young whipersnappers off your lawn while you sit in your rocker on the porch.
... as long as you're not rocking there in your Hovito gear!

Imagine my surprise upon calling David Morgan's shop - just to talk shop - to find that they have 8 footers in stock and ready to ship! Was this a fluke? I was much too surprised to ask - but I did buy one. One heck of an impulse purchase!
Ok, Here's the question, when it comes to impulse purchases.....Does anyone else notice that they seem to happen more often when the wife is away a few days? I can't figure out why?
I've spotted a 10' DM on ebay recently, my wife is away with two of the kids and the urge to buyyyyyyy is unbelievable! How does one, not give into the power of the dark side, I ask .

Sorry, I am just as guilty as everyone else on 'gearmania".
However, back to topic. I remember David Morgan saying, one of these days were are going to catch up with the back log and eventually have whips from inventory to sell. Well I guess he finally achieved that goal.
