It has arrived!

Post by MoreLikeMarcus »

Hi guys and gals,

today, when I got home from university, IT was waiting for me....
finally!
My first impression was: How could they fit an entire jacket into such a small package....
but then I opened it...
The parcel was correctly marked as a Temple of Doom jacket... and there it was! The smell of leather, the softness of a goat-skin jacket....
I am amazed...
Well, ok, let me get out of the looney mode ;)
As has been said here so many times, the jacket is fantastic... it fits great, looks just a tad bit too new. The only thing was: It looks and fits like a Raider jacket, rather than a TOD (the certificate said Raiders as well) - but honestly, I don't mind.

Thanks Peter, Jerry and all the guys at Wested; and all the folks at COW, for pointing me in the right direction!

Will post pictures once I get some decent light,

Cheers
MLM

P.S.: For those interested, the turnaround was almost exactly 3 weeks. Ordered at Wested on the 6th, shipping date was the 28th, and it arrived today, the 1st of February.

I believe all the certificates say Raiders. Don't lose sleep over it, as you have one awesome jacket. A rose by any other name...

Congrats on your new jacket. I also have a lamb TOD jacket and love it.

Yup, they seem to use a single cert for all the jackets. Mine is an LC jacket, and it says RAIDERS too.

Sounds like a great jacket, congratulations, especially on the fast turnaround! Hey, has anybody mentioned PICS yet? ;)

J

P.S. Looney mode is good. Give in to it...you don't know the true power of the looney side.
