Hey guys, this is my first post. I wish I had found this site earlier. A lot of good info to be found here! Anyway, a question for everyone who have had a 4" Indy conversion to their S&W .455. How does it shoot? Did you also have the cylinder rechambered to fire the .45 Long Colt? I just bought one, and plan on sending it off to Jack Devore early next week for the conversion. I don't feel too bad , this particular revolver had been reblued, but it is in excellent mechanical condition. Now I need to find a holster. Any suggestions? Looking for high quality - something tough and not fragile.
Thanks for all of your input.

You can obtain the same one from Western Stage Props who purchase directly from Lee's supplier. http://www.westernstageprops.com/miva/m ... t_Code=IJH
It's the best holster I own and fits the 4 inch Smiths like a glove.
Cheers,
Pyro.

The best real-use holster are the ones available from Lee Keppler. http://www.adventure-supply.com/adventu ... tm#Holster Lee is often busy at guns shows and can take a while to get back to you.goody154 wrote:Now I need to find a holster.
