Question about Wested.
Hey guys, I am going to Europe this summer on a family vacation, and was wondering if Wested has a shop or building or something where I could order a jacket. Im going to have them measure me there and everything for an Indy Jacket, and then have it made and shipped home so I wont have to worry about not getting measurments right, or anything. Either that, or I order it on the net, and pick it up.

When you get to Swanley station, go up the stairs and take a right. That exit will get you to a parking lot. There's a taxi cab service... just ask them to take you to the Wested Leather Co.. It's a quick ride, and it'll cost you about 6 Pounds.
BTW.: If you go there from Victoria Station by train, buy the cheap day return (basically same day roundtrip) ticket. It is 6.80 Pounds and it'll get you there and back.
Cheers

Disorganised Germans?
I'd much rather have a 'disorganised German' than face a troop of very organised and efficient ones!
Actually a 'disorganised German' is an oxymoron I think.
Seriously, there are some great (they even have a sense of humour -really) Germans around today.
My Dad met a few in Normandy back in 1944 and the best ones, according to him, were saying things like 'Kamerad'and 'Nicht scheissen'.
Some of the more organised ones were rather difficult to quieten down especially around Caen and air support (the P51 Mustang was a favourite) was required or if available a 'Churchill' tank. Those particular Germans didn't like the Churchill tanks for some reason or other. I wonder why?
Teutonic organisation began then to break down. Mind you the Falaise pocket was a disaster as far as their organisation was concerned. Bit of a mess to clear up I understand. :!:
We will never forget our brave sailors, soldiers and airmen.

Sounds cool and seriously....
Cup of coffee sounds great....!!!!
....by the way, back to the original question! The Wested factory in Swanley Kent is about 60 -70 miles from where I am in the U.K.
If you or any other guys out there are in the U.K. one other way of reaching (besides the train)Wested is by car and it is just off junction 3 the M25 (the London orbital motorway).
Be warned though petrol costs a loadda money over here and London traffic (including the M25) is like New York City traffic on a bad bad day! You gotta stay cool in that traffic!
I just purchased a Raiders Wested from UK e bay. Quite pleased with it, its worn in but not worn out!
Take care & stay cool.....
