Hello all, I've been lurking this forum for about a year and finally decided to post. Ever since Raiders of the Lost Ark came out, I've always wanted a true Indiana Jones fedora. I looked in every hat store you can imagine and never found the real thing. But thanks to Indy Gear and this forum, I've finally found what I've been looking for. I originally purchased and Indiana Miller hat and soon realized it wasn't a true Indiana Jones hat (although, it's a great hat). Then I found out about Lee Kepler last spring and got one of his hats. I wear it everywhere and some people do indeed recognise it as an Indiana Jones hat. Not all, of course, a few weeks ago someone yelled out to me, 'Where's your horse?'. Oh well, you can't win 'em all. Anyway, thanks for all the great info. I"ve recently ordered a Flightsuit Expedition and am waiting for it with bated breath!

Welcome to Club Obi-Wan, craigt. Sounds like you have been paying attention while you were lurking. You have some really nice gear, already. Take your shoes off and sit a spell. Just be careful if they're Aldens 'cause bink will try to steal 'em.

Indeed welcome!

No to start yet another FS vs Wested thing, but out of simple interest, can I ask why you went for the FS Expo as your Indy jacket?

Thanks for your kind welcome. I chose the Flightsuit this time around because they had one in my size and I will get it in a couple of days. I will be getting a Wested in the near future (a lambskin). I'm not in any related forums, although I look at Fedora Lounge every once in awhile as I also love Panama hats.
