Hey just an update.....
Anyone who is interested in Horsehide should think about an order soon. My order has been on hold for a month or so because Wested has not been recieving any quality hides. Gerry emailed late last week that they should have a batch in on wednesday this coming week, so if HH was something you were looking into, you may want to jump on it while they have some hide.

It's a goat. I don't want to discourage people from getting this jacket by my long wait time because this is the second one that I ordered-- I wound up sending the first one back. If there is one thing that I learned from sizing this jacket it's that it does not fit like a wet-suit (to quote Peter). If you measure about at 44" in the chest, then get a 44, not a 46. I had a feeling that I would need an extra inch in the length so I opted for the TOD, which I don't regret. Does anyone else feel like the only person in town that has a jacket like this? I do. I've had nothing but compliments on this baby.

Thank you, thank you. I'll see about some more pics. The shot above makes it look red, it's actually dark brown. I'm very happy with the goat, a lot of people who have compared it to the lamb have said that the goat is much thicker, it's actually quite supple. I'm still on my jacket honeymoon and baby this thing quite a bit, I can only imagine how paranoid I'd be with the lamb. I find excuses to wear it whenever I can, my latest jacket adventure found me drinking whiskey here late one Sunday night.
