Wested Indy Shirt arrives ... any idea if (IMAGEs) >>

Post by BillyTheKid »

Hi All,

Wow what a day :D Christmas came a bit early here in N.M. = my Wested Indy Shirt arrived, in the same group of packages which my new AeroLeather B-6 Flight Jacket :!:

The quality of the Wested (and Aero  ) are immediately felt / seen. The stitching and fabric are the best i've yet to own, but while the length of arm / body is near perfect the shirt is a bit too large. I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if i'm better off w/ a small, or perhaps after a few HOT washes the shirt will shrink ?? Any opinions / advice would be greatly appreciated ...

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all :!:

Best Regards from N.M.

Love the jacket Billy! It really is spectacular - wear it in good health! As far as the shirt is concerned, I would stay with what you have. I personally would rather have the sleeves fit and the body be a bit big then the other way around. Remember, you might want to put a t-shirt under the shirt. Anyway, I find that a bit more room is more comfortable. My Wested shirt is and XXL and I have lots of room, but am quite happy with it. Of course my shirt did shrink a bit in the wash, so you are probably going to be just fine with what you've got. Good luck and congrats!

Hi Bruce,

i much appreciate the kind reply - i knew deep down that was the way to go; having too short of sleeves would just be a pain  I'll hope the shirt shrinks a bit, as i hope to wear it Indy style (no t-shirts beneath). In addition i appreciate the congrats in regard to the jacket = i'll be enjoying for many years to come; that is till my son (5yrs old) reaches high school age and "borrows it ... LOL.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from N.M.

Hey Billy - loving the shirt and jacket combo. I've got a jacket with fur in it too, is that lambswool? Mine has lambswool... very comfortable, very warm.

Also, when can we expect pictures of you in this stuff? :D I really dislike those pictures of the shirt from Wested, they look so... yellow green, or something. Blaugh! :-&

In Christ,
Shane
