Andiana has gotten a whip!
I just got in the mail, my new bullwhip from Winrich Whips, and may I saw, I cried when I took the thing out of the package. It's soo beautiful compared to that poor excuse of a whip I have (Disney). Adam, you are outstanding!
It's an 8ft, 12 plait Roo-Hide natural tan Indy-Style Bullhip made by the very talented Adam Winrich. Here are some pics! -
- Hehehe.......
- ooh.....look...it's long and curvey........
Who can't love this whip?!?!
I'll take some action pics of me crackin' it tomorrow, and post 'em up!
I'm soooo happpeeee......
Too bad I didn't have this whip when the QM summit came along..oh well...
I recommend anyone who needs a great whip at a reasonable price, to get one from Mr. Winrich! It's great!

Andy - you and I need to get together some time and do some whipcracking... I'd like to try that out... and you can try out my Stenhouse. But wait until after I buy some more crackers and replace my fall. lol
What do you say?
And hey... can you PM me how much the whip cost? It's not listed on his site... 8' 12 plaits.. only 16 plaits.
In Christ,
Shane

Hey Andy,
I'm glad you like the whip.
As for fall matinence, here's some tips. Put a light coat of Pecards on the fall after every time you use it. This helps keep the fall from breaking, but it won't hurt anything if you miss greasing it a few times.
The fall will break off over months and years of cracking. Don't let it get shorter than a foot. I would recommend replacing it when it gets to 18" long. I'll replace the fall on any whip that I made for free, less shipping expenses, so when it comes time to replace the fall, just send it back to me with a few bucks to cover the return shipping.
Happy Cracking!

How I love that shirt! I hope I get a shirt for Christmas! Wow!
And nice pictures! Very nice! Are you just doing the overhead that ITG taught you, or are you doing other things, besides the Sergei Crack?
I too have tried that crack, (yes, impressionable youth!) but with little success and many a calf strike.
In Christ,
Shane

Andy, Way to go on doing the Sergei crack. Even I don't have the guts to try that one yet. Hey, where's your eye gear?
Oh and if you're looking for a good video/dvd, go with Paul Stenhouse's...it has beginner and advanced cracking on it as well as whip care and maintenance. Good to see ya out there cracking away. So how cold is it there? I think it's like 20-something here, which is why my whipcracking will be on hiatus for a while. Buuuurrr!
