Post by MARQ »

This doesn´t have much to do with the Raiders-Jacket but anyways....
I honestly haven´t got any answer since November 5th and I read these fellows on the FORUM who get answers all the time.What´s up with THEM!?

Was your email to them before or after you placed an order? The best way it seems to get info from them is to call them. That was the advice given to me, and so far that has worked. I have sent in questions via email and recieved response within a couple of days since I placed my order; I would guess people with orders get priority over general email enquiries.

MARQ, my experience is that it is, indeed, best to call. It seems that they frequently have some issues with their e-mail system. When I ordered my Wested, I think I filled out the online form, but I called right after that to talk with Peter and discuss the details of my jacket. Every contact I had with Wested from there on out was via telephone. Besides, I've always had enjoyable conversation with Peter and the rest of the Wested crew I've spoken with. The next Wested I (eventually) get will probably be ordered strictly over the phone. :wink:

Marq;
You might want to try sending from a different address aswell. Some addresses have been filtered out, at least in the past. An hotmail account solved it for my when my student address didn't work.

I had the exact same problem. When I send from my personal email, it does not go through. I have to send from Hotmail or my work account.

Yeah, I think it might be their spam filter. My student address worked a couple of times but I guess it was blocked on later occasions. Maybe their spam filter deletes mail directly from the server instead of handing them to a directory?
The latest mail I got from SoF ended up in my spam box aswell though directed directly to me. Go figure. :roll:
Hopefully they will see to this problem when they start fixing with their web site. (Peter told us at the summit that they were going to fix a 'shopping basket' function.)
