I understand what you're saying, Jerry... but dang, if the difference is $13 between something which is (a) Completely fake and (b) Isn't a replica of the real thing anyway and is being compared with the real thing, that was actually there 60 years ago... I can see no debate, frankly.

If one is in the Indy gear game, which includes leather jackets, whips, etc, and cannot afford a $13 differerence... well, I just don't see that, to be honest. Even for an Indy on a budget.

I was thinking more of a $5 one in your hand, or sending away for an $18 one...keep in mind there are still quite a few teens on the board, and the cash is come by slowly.

Btwn you and me, though, yes, now that I see I can get a MKVII for $18, and having a good job, I'll never buy another repro - when I next go for a bag update, I'll go the SoF route. Thanks again for pointing that source out!

As for me, I wouldnt buy one. Not since I have a WPG bag, 3 MKVI's and 2 MKVII's.
