Nice morgan whip in Maverick

Post by DJN »

Just for us whip freaks out here...I did a search and didn't find a mention of the david morgan whip in the Richard Donner/ William Goldman scripted fun film Maverick. In case you missed it, it's the scene near the begining where Mel wins a nice pot of Alfred Molina and just before Alfred starts some sh*t, some cowhands come in and grab Maverick for a "fight". One is using a very nice (and what seems to be an older Raiders era judging by the handle length) morgan "Indy" whip. Thought it might be of interest.

Maybe Molina took one from the Raiders shoot?

I love that movie Maverick...I need to rent it again...I don't remember any whip(s)...but I was pretty young back when I first saw it. DJN, I see you are from LA...are you aware of the Queen Mary summit in Longbeach we're having in about 9 days?

The Queen Mary Summit...Ahhh yes. I was there last year for a little while. Should be able to spend quite a bit more time there this year. Looking forward to it. I'll see all of you there.
