Koreana Jones rub with a goat!
Our good friend Jun (or Koreana Jones as he now calls himself), has done a remarkable job aging his FS dark brown crome goat jacket. He used sandpaper all over the jacket. I am sure he will provide the details. It makes my aged jacket of the same leather look brand new! Enjoy!

First things first... MK, couldn't you choose a better title for this thread?! I love animals but... Nah, I won't go there. Would you post this in the jacket section also so I can get more glory? HAHA! You know I'm a glory hog. Hehe... Why don't you post a pic of you wearing my jacket. I know it will be a little big but just to show the whole jacket. Anyway... Thanks for posting pics of my jacket. I better get it back! next QM summit? Have a good one!
Best Regards,
Jun

Okay... Heres what I did.
1. 5 "rub"downs with 91% alcohol. To get rid of some color and lots of shine.
2. Acetone on all seams and edges. About 3 applications.
3. Now here is the hard part. Go to the hardware store and buy yourself some 100 grit(YES 100 GRIT!) sandpaper and get yourself ready for a workout! Some major elbow grease went into making this jacket look like it does!
BTW, I applied alcohol and acetone every once in awhile. And Dalexs, our jackets are both dark brown chrome goat.

Yikes, that jacket looks like it has been through some serious adventurin. Or have you been using some strange, barbed wire for crackers on your whips? Or wrestling with some of them gators down under?
Well, I can remember when that jacket was brand spankin new. Too new. But man, I hope Michaelson doesn't die of a heart attack. Crickey.
Are you going to get another FS for those formal occasions? You should just to make sure that Michaelson recovers. )

New FS? Of course! After another pair of Aldens and an Optimo! Well, I dont know what I am going to get next but my next jacket WILL be a lamb FS. 46R. Thanks for letting me try on you 44R. Regular will be PERFECT for the Raiders look. But Sergei... half of me wants to distress the lamb naturally and, of course, the other is saying... ALCOHOL, ACETONE, SANDPAPER! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! Sorry Michaelson!

*Michaelson burns incense while holding a voodoo Koreana, an opened tube of pecards is within his reach, he chants and applies the deadly gel to the little vinyl replica jacket (with two piece underarm gussets)
They both look great. MK's looks brand new. It's amazing how distressed Koreana's really is. Nice work good friend

I actually like MK's a bit better myself, though I'd like to see the whole jacket. In my eyes, the visible section looks a bit overboard with the distressing and not quite how it would happen "naturally", but I wouldn't necessarily it's @#$%. To each his own.KyleS wrote: Am I the only one that thinks that jacket looks like @#$%? I'm sorry but that just looks awful.
